Marine Gas Oil (MGO), 500ppm Sulphur
As MARPOL 2020 is in force, many ocean going vessel are faced with the need to reduce their sulphur dioxide emission to regulatory level. Otherwise they will face fines or delay in their sailing schedule.
There are currently 2 methods to meet the sulphur emission level set by MARPOL
- Retrofit a sulphur dioxide scrubber to clean the vessel exhaust
- Use Marine Gas Oil (MGO), 500ppm Sulphur to power your vessel’s engine which is able to meet the regulatory sulphur dioxide levels
